ABOUT ME

My name is Alevtyna and I'm an illustrator.
Writing something about myself turned out to be the most difficult part for me, but I will try to introduce myself to you.

I am 30 years old and I have been drawing my whole life. I consider myself to be a very positive person. I am very lucky to be able to do what I love when I fulfill my clients' orders. I enjoy the process, it's a passion for me, not work. 

​

I transferred from music to art school as a child, and it was the first best decision of my life. When I graduated high school I enrolled at the Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. After six years of study I graduated as an architect. All this time I was still painting and growing under different mentors.

I also studied art history, color theory and learned to use many mediums and techniques, including oils, pastels and watercolors.

The teacher who helped me lay the foundation of my knowledge always said that I could always make a living by drawing. Thankfully that dream has come true.

​

Before COVID I had my own art studio for children and adults, and it was a success. I dream of reopening it in the coming years.

​

Now most often I create illustrations for brands, books and articles.

​

But my passions include fashion, fashion photography, the female form

and feminine style. My favorite form of illustration is fashion illustration.

​

In 2020 I decided to take part in the FIDA global competition and my work made it to the top 10 in the world . You can view this work under my name here.
​

The book "The Fible" The TRIPTYCH is planned for release in February 2023 and will feature the work of many fashion illustrators including mine.

​

Fate brought me a client a few years ago who currently plays a very important role in my career. They are the Indian luxury brand Gauri & Nainika. They create chic female gowns filled with romanticism.

​

I taught classes in fashion illustration for one of their designers and gradually
I began taking commissions.
At the moment I'm drawing patterns for fabrics and prints. These are used by Gauri & Nainika for their collections. You can see them on the catwalk and in catalog.

It makes me extremely happy to see my illustrations come to life and be part of the large and exciting world of fashion. I'm grateful for their trust and cooperation. This is not just a collaboration, it is a part of me.
